Criticism

In addition to the book pictured below, I've published articles and given talks and seminars on a wide range of writers and artists, from Dante to Gertrude Stein, from James Joyce to language poetry. 

My academic career ended abruptly when I suffered  a spine injury, so I haven't done this kind of work since then.   But the mind likes to follow familiar patterns, and I continue to investigate related questions of poetics in my photography.
